Hi all! It's been waaay too long since my last post!! But, I've been a bit busy here, working on my sewing machines and crafting (and gardening, selling eggs, kid out of school, getting ready for camping and so forth!!). I wanted to share this, my latest pattern! Since we haven't been able to have quilt guild meetings, a small group of us, after getting our vaccines, started to meet at each others houses. As a hostess gift, I started making during our meet ups, spool pin doilies. Since we all sew, I figured these would be great gifts and so far, well received. I usually just free hand a pattern while I'm there to make it more special to the person I'm giving it to. Recently, we went to a fellow guild member's home, Pam. Her home is so decorative! Throughout, it's adorned with pumpkins in some craft form. Quilts, quilted wall hangings, paintings, small felted accent pillows and so on. And I am a huge pumpkin lover! Howdy folks! Again, apologies on my absence, been a heck of a year! Been traveling and healing from injuries and flare ups. First, let me state that if you do NOT feel your Rheumatologist is not listening, addressing concerns, saying that they're probably going to start you on a new therapy and never do, LEAVE THEM!! Unless they are the only one in a hundred mile radius, find a new one that will listen and act! Just saying as my last two appointments, I was told that because of an anaphylactic reaction to Rituxan, I would not be able to try any other Biologic. Twice. My last appointment, Hubby went in with me and he posed the same questions, only to get the same response. So, buh-bye!! My new Rheumatologist was recommended to me by my PCP. He's awesome! He did a ton of tests, x-rays, etc. He started me on Xeljanz. I tried it for several months, but didn't receive any benefits from it. Even had a flare up just before I stopped taking it.
