Crafting, Camping, Cooking and Life! (with RA!)

Good afternoon all! What a week!! Last week was our son Daniel's birthday. We've been spending his birthdays camping and he enjoys it. I think he likes that he has our full attention and we try to do things he likes. For this post, I will just be sharing our camping weekend with you in pictures. I know most of these are the same from previous posts, but wanted to share the park upgrades since then. After we set up Friday, we went to one of our favorites for dinner, Fred's Pizza in Waverly, Ohio. Great food, seriously! We dined in that night, first for us. Daniel played some arcade games there. Afterward, back to the campsite.... We had gotten him a similar cake a couple of years ago and he never stopped going on about it. Loved we were able to order this and surprise him with it. My morning walk on Saturday.... I never tire of this view. So calming to have this as one of the first things you see when you start your day. We spent most of the day playing cornhole. We got a go...

One of our favorite places to camp for a weekend is at Scioto Trails. This is located in Ross County, Ohio. Its a smaller park, which is great as not a lot of loud people or parties. The staff is nice, good little camp store, and a few other perks there. Another bonus is that there is an outdoor theater not far away. They mainly do Tecumseh! throughout the year, but also give a Shakespeare performance or two during the year. They also have other events, so nice to check it out before planning a trip there.
