Hi all! It's been waaay too long since my last post!! But, I've been a bit busy here, working on my sewing machines and crafting (and gardening, selling eggs, kid out of school, getting ready for camping and so forth!!). I wanted to share this, my latest pattern! Since we haven't been able to have quilt guild meetings, a small group of us, after getting our vaccines, started to meet at each others houses. As a hostess gift, I started making during our meet ups, spool pin doilies. Since we all sew, I figured these would be great gifts and so far, well received. I usually just free hand a pattern while I'm there to make it more special to the person I'm giving it to. Recently, we went to a fellow guild member's home, Pam. Her home is so decorative! Throughout, it's adorned with pumpkins in some craft form. Quilts, quilted wall hangings, paintings, small felted accent pillows and so on. And I am a huge pumpkin lover! Good morning all! A beautiful morning here in Ohio, a balmy 58F degrees right now. I've been busy outside getting my garden ready for planting. I was able to get the additional 4 beds and just got them assembled this morning. Here is my current garden. Still cleaning and weeding yet, so don't mind the mess! This is the side view. Wanted you to see the nifty spigot with hose reel. I plan on getting another steel flexible garden hose. I haven't taken an inventory yet of the watering system, but pretty sure I still need to get more of the bubbler tops and stakes. We picked up a plastic walk-in greenhouse while we were out this weekend. I plan on putting it up this afternoon and getting my seedlings out there. I will add those pictures of the greenhouse later. Here is my seedlings so far. The cabbages on the far end are already an inch long! I was surprised at how quickly they sprouted.
